Anyway, question is: If I set up a booth at Fanime do you guys think anything would sell? Seriously now.
I have a pretty large assortment of stuff I have ready for cons, anyway, so I could probably make back my money with my bucket of buttons/magnet parade/sticker assault, but art wise, I just draw dragons, crazy fantasy and awesome animals. Thing is that if someone comes up to me at an Artist Alley and is like "draw me CLOOUUUD" i'd be like "WTF"
Seriously, other than large blond spiky hair, I have no idea about the rest of his character design. Now, when I go to Califur, and someone is like "draw me a crazy husky" or my personal favorite "DRAW A DRAAHGUN!" I can churn that out in no time, hahaa! Though, after a 48 hour drawathon for my children's book I presented to Spacedog Books, I feel more confident on my people skills.
Maybe if I just add a note to my table: "Will possibly mangle all pre-existing characters without good provided reference" and everything will be solved.
(seriously, though. For those of you who know anything about anime cons, do you expect I could make a decent amount there?)

Anyway, on the way there I came up Pine hill and there were a TON of fire trucks. There was a motorcycle in the middle of the road and paramedics gathered all about a poor person who appeared to be badly injured D:
I don't think I could ever own a motorcycle. Two of my uncles have had bad leg breaks due to motorbike accidents, and my cousin went into a coma, almost died, and once he got better, got another bike... which he just crashed a couple weeks ago (but he's thankfully completely okay, despite the bike being destroyed)
Thankfully Nikolai doesn't drive one, otherwise I would have to murder him. I can see the appeal, especially in the city, because they make getting around so much easier, but they are SO dangerous!! I'll stick with a car and bike.

SO THEN! I'm A-OK (more than, because my infernal cramps have ended), and I got ahold of my friend who has a boyfriend in Japan and he's okay (Just a little muddy, apparently). A number of her family relatives aren't accounted for, yet, so I'm crossing my fingers for them. Same for everyone out in Japan. Nat's ocasionally been stationed there, but thankfully he's not there now (But I AM gonna kill him :3)
So, random thing from yesterday...
me and <lj-user="eatfun"> were like "YEAH ICE CREAM!" because I got a coupon for free ice cream because I signed up for a newsletter using my junk mail. Anyway, it sent me a coupon, which I printed. There were little lines on an area you were supposed to cut out, but I was like "meh" and just took the whole image.
Anyway, I bring it into Haagen Das all excited for ice cream (which I've craved for a month), and I give the guy my coupon and he's like "... Where's the rest of it?" and I'm like "uh, what? I printed what was on my email" and then he was like "well, your email is not ON the paper."
What?
Anyway, apparently they are BRILLIANT and made a coupon WITH a barcode that only has one number on it. So they thought I was trying to scam them or something (when the easier way to scam would be just to bring that stupid coupon into different Haagen Das joints... I'm in San Francisco, man. There's probably three in my area). So, finally, I log into my email using my dying phone, and pull up the email and go "Um, here it is on my phone"
And he's like 'I'm sorry, how can I see what your email name is?"
I'm like "GOD DAMN IT DO I NEED TO TYPE MY PASSWORD IN FRONT OF YOU!?"
and they gave me my ice cream.

Unlikely, but I guess it's there. I have to go to the city today, anyway, and if anything looks bad, I'll just stay.
well, this has been a FUN week. It's like, female fun time plus stupid relationship arguments and me having to put my foot down on things and TSUNAMIS.
And Pandora needs her shots.

I have horrible cramps, insomnia, a cat who hates trave, and I live at what is probably 4 feet above sea level in San Francisco bay...
I should probably toss everything in my car and go on an adventure, but I can't afford parking. I think instead, I'll try and wake up 'bout 40 minutes before the waves are supposed to hit (... 3 hours from now, sheesh), and see what the news says about the upper coast.
The waves are estimated at 3 feet, and honestly, that means that at worse, I might just get flooding, BUT EVERYONE KEEPS TEXTING ME THEIR FEAR-FILLED MESSAGES AND NOW I'M FREAKING OUT.
but... honestly, the feminine problem of horrible horrible cramps may win over my potential fear for life. And homework. My gobs and gobs of homework.

Interesting fact:
some GUYS in my class complained that I put the girl in front of the boy, and said I should change it because normally the guy is in the front.
... note that in the story, the girl rescues the boy.
Even after I explained this, they kept complaining because it wouldn't look right if the girl was in front.
